Investing In Your Health, With Clarity & Confidence.

Your Journey To Better Health Starts Here

Your Next Step Towards Better Health Starts Here

Across HealthMatters Group, we support individuals looking for thoughtful, evidence-led care for their mental and physical health. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to invest more proactively in your wellbeing, we help you understand your options and find the right path forward.

Our approach focuses on personalised recommendations rather than one-size-fits-all programmes. Following an initial conversation and assessment, we design a tailored plan that may include therapy, nutrition, medical support or a combination of services working together.

If you’re considering support, the next step is simple – review the information below and book a discovery call so we can help you decide what feels right for you.

Your First Step – Initial Assessment Session

Before starting therapy, you’ll have a complimentary 20-minute consultation with our friendly client services team. Together, we will explore your needs and match you with a therapist best suited to support your wellbeing journey.

In your first 50-minute assessment session (£120), your therapist will take time to understand your current challenges and health goals. They’ll outline how therapy can help you move forward, and you’ll have plenty of space to ask questions and get a feel for how a tailored treatment plan might look.

Ongoing Therapy Options

Good therapy takes time – and investing in your health is important. Many of our clients find it helpful to work with a therapist for several months, this helps to build trust and momentum around change. You can choose what feels right for you:

  • Single Session – £120 Ideal if you would like flexibility to book as you go.
  • Block of 4 Sessions – £460 A cost-effective way to invest in your therapeutic journey.

Therapy with our team is open-ended, and we will work together to agree on the right pace for you.

Time To Understand – Your Initial Psychiatric Assessment

Your first session with a WeightMatters psychiatrist is a conversation designed to explore what’s affecting your mental, emotional, and physical health — including struggles with eating, mood, trauma, or self-worth.

Our psychiatrists will explore your symptoms, medical history, and any emotional patterns influencing your behaviour. For clients navigating obesity, they may also consider how factors like the gut microbiome, adipose tissue, and food addiction may be affecting your appetite regulation and weight.

This assessment helps shape a personalised treatment plan – which may include a diagnosis, medication, or collaboration with our therapy and nutrition teams. It is important you feel heard, understood, and supported with clarity on next steps.

Initial 90-Minute Psychiatric Assessment – £450
Initial 60-Minute Psychiatric Assessment Session – £400

Ongoing Psychiatric Support – Time To Find Balance

Ongoing sessions provide structured, consistent support to stabilise mood, manage anxiety, and address emotional drivers of eating and weight gain. For some, this may include preparing for or navigating the long-term journey of bariatric surgery.

Psychiatric care bridges the medical and psychological, supporting behavioural change, reducing distress, and working alongside therapy and nutrition. Treatment may include medication and mindset strategies that help regulate compulsive eating and stress responses.

Over time, your psychiatrist becomes a steady guide—tracking progress, adjusting care, and helping you build mental resilience as you move toward better health, balance and self-connection.

What you get

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy offers you time – time to be heard, to reflect, and to begin understanding the deeper patterns shaping your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

Like counselling, psychotherapy provides a safe and supportive space to explore life’s challenges with a trained professional. It often works at a deeper level, helping you uncover and gently shift long-standing emotional patterns that may be limiting how you experience life and relationships.

Your psychotherapist will take time to explore what has brought you to therapy, what changes you hope to make, and where you may feel stuck or overwhelmed.

Together, you’ll begin to unpack your story – not just the ‘what’ of your experiences, but the ‘how’ and ‘why’ behind them – creating space for insight, choice, and more empowered ways of living.

Counselling

Counselling offers you time to be heard – to speak openly with a trained professional who will listen with compassion, without judgment. It’s a space where you can begin to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and take the first steps towards meaningful change.

Your counsellor will support you in exploring what’s going on in your life, helping you develop deeper awareness of the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be holding you back.

Together, you’ll begin to build practical tools and emotional insight – to challenge unhelpful thinking, process difficult feelings, and move toward greater clarity and self-understanding.

Counselling isn’t only for times of crisis. It’s also a powerful space for personal growth – helping you build confidence, reconnect with your strengths, and create positive momentum in your life.

Dietitian Services & Wellbeing

Food is medicine. When our eating is disordered and we have an imbalance of nutrients, our mind and body will start to struggle.

Our dietitian will help you understand the basics of food chemistry so you can make informed dietary choices to improve your mental health, and to prevent and treat, illness and disease.

Coaching you on habit and behaviour change is an essential aspect of our work. We will help you prepare and plan for the lifestyle changes required to reach your goals.

We have a wealth of experience in working with mental health conditions, weight management, and eating disorder recovery.

Nutritional Therapy For Mental & Physical Wellbeing

When we look at health on a continuum, nutritional therapy can interrupt a slide towards illness and disease, and help you transition your body back to optimal health.

Nutritional therapy works well with stress, hormonal imbalances, lack of energy and autoimmune conditions by helping you rebalance the nutritional balance of your body.

Specific functional tests are available that help us understand what your body is lacking or missing. Better health is created through dietary changes and nutritional supplements.

Nourishing the mind and body with nutrients can significantly change the way we think and feel, and be a huge benefit for anybody struggling with mental health.

Psychiatric Assessment – Time to Understand

People often consider seeing a psychiatrist when they’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure about what’s happening in their mind or body. You might be struggling with low mood, high levels of stress, difficulty sleeping, intrusive thoughts, or a general sense that something just isn’t right.

Psychiatrists are medically trained doctors who specialise in mental health. They are highly skilled at exploring complex emotional and psychological experiences, and at identifying patterns that may point to a mental health diagnosis.

Your psychiatrist will take time to explore your symptoms, personal and family medical history, and how your emotional health is affecting your daily life. From there, they will work with you to shape a personalised treatment plan that may include diagnosis, medication, and collaborative support with our therapy or nutrition teams. This is more than just a medical appointment – it’s a spacious and compassionate conversation designed to give you clarity, direction, and a sense of what’s possible next.

Health Coaching

Working alongside our psychotherapists, counsellors, psychiatrists and nutritional practitioners, your mental health coach will help you make sense of all the advice you’ve received and turn it into clear, achievable steps, at a pace that feels realistic and kind to your nervous system.

Together, you and your coach will:

  • Guide behaviour change in a way that fits your life, not someone else’s plan
  • Help with goal setting so your mental health goals feel meaningful, achievable and motivating
  • Support accountability, keeping you on track without judgement or pressure
  • Build on your strengths, rather than focusing only on what’s ‘wrong’
  • Co-create personalised strategies for everyday challenges around food, stress, sleep, energy, movement and self-care

Health coaching is about having someone in your corner – helping you stay focused on what matters most for your mental health, and supporting you to follow through.
